Ed Begley

Bought a new PC in Japan with Office 2007 Japanese language, all Office
ribbon menus in Japanese.

How do I change menus to English?

Thanks

thanks Carey, some additional information -
I have Vista Ultimate installed, do I still need to buy the lanugage pack?
I thought Vista Ultimate already had multi-language capability.

In MS Office Tools, I set language to English, but still menus are Japanese.

Thanks,

Q. "I thought Vista Ultimate already had multi-language capability."

A. Yes, but only for Windows Vista and not applications such as Office 2007.

In Microsoft Office 2007 Language Settings Tool, did you set the language to
English on the "Editing Languages" tab, or did you set it on the "Display
Languages" tab?

You need to set the language on the Display Languages tab in order to change
the user interface language. Also, be sure that you reboot your apps after
you change the display language.

The Display Language tab is only visible after you install a language pack.
Carey's first response contained the link to the website that sells Language
packs.
