java applet failed error comes when i use hover button

I have not used java applets in my site but i've used hover buttons in my
site.When i load my site and open it in the internet explorer i have an error
that Loading Java Applet Failed. i have Java installed on my machine. and
when i open my site from my computer it works OK..but when i type its URL i.e
where ive uploaded it , then this error comes..What should i do?

Hover buttons "do" use java applets.!!!

Most people have quit using hover buttons because new machines do not have Java automatically
installed.
It needs to be downloaded by the user.
