Our vertical bar charts, animated to 'wipe up' by series element, do so
slowly and jerkily (if created in 2003 they perform better). Nothing fancy -
just 5 bars, the last two of which have zero value; the chart is around a
third of the width of the screen and half the height. 16:9 format.
Is this a fault in 2007? We have tried changing resolution, using hardware
acceleration (or not), and reducing it step by step; changing the gradient
fill to solid colour, cycling through the presentation in advance, removing
the pictures from subsequent charts...
We're using a new Dell desktop with a NVidia 8600 GTS with 256Mb of memory.
We get the same effect on two similar machines.
Any advice welcomed.
Thanks.
