I work at a tiny architecture firm and am trying to use Job Accouting when
printing. In the printer properties>device settings I checked the Job
Accounting box and now every time I print I enter the Job number I am working
on and it works perfectly. I am running XP and fairly basic/standard
software. There's 4 computers total in my office and we all run the same
exact programs. So, I did the EXACT SAME setup procedure for the other 3
computers so that we can all track the printing we do that is job specific
and then bill for it. Yay!
Except it doesn't work on the other 3 computers. Boo!
I literally did the exact same thing. Why would it not work on the other
computers? When I print from the other computers, an error message pops up
that says "Uncheck Job Accounting from printer properties and try printing
again".
What did I do wrong OR why would this not work on the other 3 machines?
