job failed to complete

When I open a project from Project Pro (still in cache), it is
indicated that the project has not been checked in. I see an error
"Job failed to complete":

1. Job Type: Checkin
2. ErrorID: 10102 (0 x 2776)
3. Error Reason: Entity is not checked out to you
Could not check in project. Contact system administrator to force
checkin of project

When I go to the screen to force checkin of the project, there are no
projects listed to force a check in

Thanks,

Andy:

You need to delete your local cache.

Go to Start > Run
Type %appdata%
Navigate to the MS Project folder
Delete everything under the folder.

That should solve the problem. Do this frequently until you install SP1.

Gary,

Under the MS Project folder there are three subfolders:

11, 12, and Cache

This sounds like an elementary question, but do you mean delete
everything in the Cache folder or delete everything (including all
folders) in the MS Project folder?

Thanks,
Andy
