Job sitting Idle

B

Ben

Hello,

Initially, I have projects that cannot be check-in, then per other's
suggestions. I cancelled the jobs in Sever Setting - Manage Queue. Then do
a Forced Check-In.

Although under Manage Queue it shows the job that is waiting to be Check-In,
but it is sitting idle with 0% completion and job status is always " waiting
to be process "

This idle state remains even after several hours and in Queue settings Fast
Polling is checked and thread has been incread to 10?

Any suggestions on why it's sitting idle and how to resolve that?

Tks,

Ben

Firstly check the time and regional settings are the same on the project
server(s) and SQL server.

Expand the history of the queue. Is there any other transactions blocking
the correlation of these jobs ?

You can elevate the logging of the Queue in the Sharepoint logs to verbose
to ascertain more information around what's going on.

Try to avoid cancelling any jobs and use this as an absolute last resort.
