I know it's not much, but I got this info from the PR folks today that I
can share. I'll post any other info as it's made available for release.

*********************************************************************
We were very excited about the announcement we made at this year’s PDC.
Specifically we shared that:
* As part of the next release of Office, Microsoft will provide Office
web applications, which are light weight versions of Office programs
delivered through the browser (IE, Safari, FireFox).
* For consumers, Office web applications will available on Office Live,
which is a consumer service offering ad-funded and subscription
offerings. Businesses will be able to get the Office web applications
through hosted subscriptions and existing volume licensing programs.
* Microsoft will release a limited technical preview available later
this year. To get more information and updates about Office web
applications beta availability, people can sign up for Office Live
Workspace at workspace.officelive.com today.

We will have more to share soon! In the meantime, as mentioned above,
you can get more information and updates about Office web applications
beta availability, by signing up for Office Live Workspace at
workspace.officelive.com today.
