[email protected] On Behalf Of [email protected] weird reply in email

This is a problem I have now and then. I send an e-mail and the party
replies. But all I get is the fact that they are replying with this From
address. I get my message back in the body.

From the two senders I can recall, they seem to use Lotus notes and one has
an AS 400.

If this is happening only when they reply (and you aren't
[email protected]) it's their issue, not yours.

OK, I just spoke with this person and I have more details. I was way off.

Here's what happens. He gets the reply I spoke of with the "on behalf of"
text in the "From" feild. No big deal.

What he sees in the email is his original email text in the body of the
reply, but not the person's reply. The text doesn't show up. If the person
emails direct it works fine.

Now it gets good. As he is going to show me an example, he opens it out of
his deleted items, he says "look at that", the text is there. The reply he
couldn't see before was visible once the email was in deleted items?? I
moved it over to the Inbox and then opened the message. I could see the
text there as well. Both times he has had this trouble, the sender is using
Lotus Notes.
