Journal automatically record Office Items?

I have recently upgraded to Outlook 2003 from 2000 where I would use the
Journal to record my activities in MS Word and Excel. I can't seem to figure
out how to do that in this version of Outlook without dropping in every
single file I use. Am I missing something?
