I saw the numerous messsages about the Journal no longer recording. I had the
same problem but I just found a solution. It's probably because the size of
your Outlook is too big. Mine was 200MB. When I cut it down to 87MB Journal
started working again. To see the size of your mailbox go to Tools>Mailbox
cleanup.
Also if you are afraid to archive your Outlook - don't be. You can still
access your achived file. When the archive is completed go to File Open>find
the file and there it will be above your [Personal Folders]. When I archive,
I force it to archive into My Documents then it's easy to find the file.
Also I use a tool called EZdetach to get rid of those bulky attachments.
It's great because it leaves a shortcut to the attachment in the email.
