Journaling Does Not Work

I have Outlook 2003 and it will not record the file activities even though I
have the boxes checked to record activity for Excel, Word, etc. My IT
department was no help. I have seen multiple postings of this same problem
yet no one has been able to offer solution -- anyone from MicroSoft actually
monitoring these questions?

No, Microsoft does not officially monitor these forums. They are for
peer-to-peer support only. If you need proper Microsoft support you will
need to call their support number. If you can't find an answer through these
groups then likely we, the users, just don't know of one.
