JPG in a Word HTML file

I have been importing JPGs into an on going HTML file that
I have created in Word.

Recently I have been importing images into Word and they
are showing up as if they were at a lower resolution, IE:
they are larger and more dithered than the ones I have
created in Photoshop.

I think it may have something to do with the VML but that
option is not turned on in the options. When I try
inporting the graphics through Front Page, a warning pops
up but the image is inserted correctly. However, when I go
back to view the page in Word, the images go back to a
larger size and lower resolution.

If anyone can tell me what has changed or what setting I
can change to allow my images to be imported properly it
would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Dean

G'day "Dean" <[email protected]>,

Insert them as LINKED INLINE graphics. Your "insert" button has
dropdowns (assuming Word 2k+) - so select the Insert as Link option
rather than the default. Once inserted, ensure it is inline. Word Xp
comes with a tools > options setting to do inline automatically.
