jump to reference

I believe you can change a setting in Excel so that when you double click on
a cell that has a reference to another cell on another worksheet in the same
workbook, it will automatically take you to that worksheet and highlight that
cell (i.e. if in sheet1cellA1 you have =sheet2cellJ1 when you double click
on sheet1cellA1 you are taken to sheet2cellJ1)

Hope this makes sense, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!

Doesn't Excel just do that by design. I may be wrong, but I didn't think you
needed any special settings set for this functionality.

Yodic,

I think you are referrring to hyperlinks.

Select cell A1, press ctrl-K, Use the Bookmark button to select the
orrect sheet and cell address, and also set up the text to display i
cell a1.

Then finished you will have a hyperlink to the requested cell
