Junk E-Mail Folder

In Outlook 2007 when I empty the Junk E-mail folder instead of not showing
any unread emails it shows, in green, (4294967295), as the number of unread
emails? even though the folder is empty. I've searched the net but don't
see anyone else posting this issue.

Outlook has some counting bugs like these. Did you already install Office
2007 SP1 and additional updates?
Also scan your pst-file for errors with scanpst.exe.
If it still happens then, you can easily work around it by leaving 1 item in
the Junk Email folder.
