Junk E-mails Option-"Permanently delete suspected junk e-mail ..."

Hi all

In Junk E-mail option of Outlook 2007, there is a check box option says
"Permanently delete suspected junk e-mail instead of moving it to the Junk
E-mail folder.". After it is checked, all the junk emails still go to Junk
E-mail folder. Aren't they suppose to be deleted once received?

Can someone tell me how this function works? Should I do anything on
Exchange Server?

Thanks for your help.

With that option enabled, messages are supposed to be deleted instead of
being placed in Junk E-mail. Why they are not may be due to something on
the server, but I'm not familiar enough with Exchange to say. Ask in
microsoft.public.exchange.admin.
