junk email filter and links

I really did check old postings and couldn't find
answers! I run Win xp home, Outlook 2002. We had a
recent crash and everything was restored. Since then,
there is no option for turning on my junk email filter!
It will color them gray, but not move them. I've tried
all the updates to both windows and office that I could
find. Also since the restore, when I click on a link in
an email message, it can't find the right browser (?) or
something, so I can't link directly to the linked site,
but have to cut and paste to get there. Any help to be
had?

If I recall, the Organize function for junk mail did only that: colored the
subject line. However, I seem to recall that you could create a rule to
delete them. Have you looked into that?

Try starting IE and then clicking Tools>Internet Options>Programs>Reset Web
Settings.
