junk mail filter does not work

Mail from web.de (one of the largest German email providers) always gets caught in the junk mail, even though I put the domain on the Safe List. This even happens for addresses which are in my address book and which I have frequently mailed.

A similar post remained unsolved for the 2008 edition. A glitch fix (or a work around) would be appreciated.

YES, I had such a rule (now deleted), but NOOOOOO, I did not create a rule
like that. Is there some automatic rule creation when certain conditions are
met...?

Yes, the most likely culprit is the Mailing List Manager (MLM). It's very
easy to set up a MLM rule by accident, when you are marking a message as
'not junk'. The wording of that dialog is ambiguous to say the least.

BTW, using Safe Domains is not the best way. Adding a contact to the Address
Book is the best option.
