Junk mail folder blocked on OL2003?

I've got a kind of "no-entry" sign on my junk mail folder - as well as
nothing getting into it! I suspect that certain mails sent to me are being
sent to the folder which are then deleted before I even see them. Have
recently installed Norton Antivirus 2007 - can this have anything to do with
it?
