Junk mails to me that show me as the sender

I keep on getting junk emails that show me as the sender. I assume I have
some sort of bug here - what can I do to stop this?

no bug. It's a favorite trick of spammers. If you never send yourself mail, create a rule to delete mail sent from your address to your address.
