Junkmail and the reading pane

How do I turn off the reading pane only for the junk mail folder ?

Sometimes I want to check what emails get delivered into the junk mail
folder
so no real emails are lost, however whenever I do that it opens the first
junkmail
in the reading pane by default.

I don't want to turn it off completely, only for the junk mail folder.
