Just cannot get this article to work

no matter what I do. I've tried setting the Default Profile to nothing.
All that does is nothing. I tried using the Microsoft Office 2000 Resource
Kit ADM files. That just disables the interface to change the profile to
ask in the Outlook 2000 GUI. I've tried Rebooting. I've tried shutting
down MAPI32. That just kills Outlook 2000 entirely. I just cannot seem to
get Outlook 2000 to query for the MAPI profile when it starts. At all.
Help.

Windows 2000 SP4 Professional Microsoft Office 2000 SP1 SQL Server 7 SP4 I
think (SQL Mail is configured to use...the profile that is the default).

Got it. When I mentioned the account that SQL 7 Mail was using and checked
as I wrote this request for Help I noticed that SQL Mail in version 7 has a
different option than SQL Mail in SQL 2000. There is an option to Start SQL
Mail when SQL 7 starts. BINGO!!! Since that uses the MAPI my default
account was already signed into the MAPI when I got to the desktop. That's
why I was never queried. So I de-slected that (on by default) and rebooted
(of course causing SQL to stop then start). Well got to the desktop fired
up Outlook 2000 SP1 and was queried for the profile to use.

I think the article I posted needs a caveat.
