Trouble with the wife's Outlook:
Originally using Outlook 2000: whenever she tries to send or reply to
message, she no sooner starts typing than the spellcheck window opens u
and tries to correct her, making continuous typing impossible. W
disabled everything in the Spelling Options - no difference. W
disabled "use MS Word to edit email messages" - still no difference. W
scanned for viruses - nope. We called out the guy from Dell, wh
pottered around, and suggested we do a full re-install (hurrah!).
So we did: reformatted, re-installed everything from scratch
including Outlook 2003, repeat 2003. And still the same problem!
Background info: we're running Windows XP Home Edition, with up-to-dat
viruschecker and firewall (both Macafee). We're both computer-competent
but neither of us are whizzkids.
How can we kill this overenthusiastic spellchecker?! Any ideas muc
appreciated!
Regards
