Just installed Office--but get "failed to initialize" message!

Just bought the Student edition of Office 2003---but I can't get it to do
anything. All I get is the "failed to initialize" message, and tells me to
terminate. I installed both discs, restarted the computer. Please
help---Office help did not work!
