Just want to type an apostrophe, type a quote.

I just want to press the apostophe key and have an apostrophe appear, or
press the <Shift Apostrophe> and get a quote.

Where, when, how, and in what context, please? Is this a question about
Microsoft Access, the database program that is the topic of this
newsgroup? If so, what seems to be the problem?
