KB249301 - Document in Internet Explorer - not resolved by SR1

I experience exactly the problem described in KB249301,

- when opening a word document from a mapped drive through
a hyperlink, i.e <a href="g:\docs\mydoc.doc">Mydoc</a>, it
renames the document to "Document in Internet Explorer".
It's regardless of the browserflags, same behaviour if
opening inside IE or in Word.

It says it should be resolved when installing SR1, but
not. Even after updating with the latest SP3 the bug still
remains.

Anyone heard anything? Ideas?
