KB823372 - Word documents with attached templates

We appear to be having the exact problem described in,

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823372/

But according to that article the issue is fixed in Office 2003 Sp3 which
all of our PC's are running. I've also tried doing the registry tweak
described in this article with no success.

Has anyone else had similar problems or has any suggestions?

Ok, was way off track with this wasn't anything todo with this hotfix. A lot
of our older computers had a "workgroup templates" location set in word to a
server which has recently been turned off, word was obviously trying to
search for the template in this location.

Just removed

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\11.0\Common\General\SharedTemplates

and fixed the problem
