Keep Desktop Outlook 2007 and Notebook Outlook 2007 in Sync

I run Outlook 2007 on both my desktop and notebook. How can I keep Outlook
in sync between the two machines? For about 6 months I have been using
Microsoft's SyncToy and that has worked pretty good but it has caused a few
problems when I forgot to run it before using the opposite machine,
sometimes causing me to loose a day or two's worth of email, tasks and
calendar changes. Yesterday was one of those days, loosing about a half a
day's work on updates, emails and tasks.

I am on my home office network about 70% of the time so there are times that
the Outlook .pst file would get out of sync between the two systems wen away
from the network..

I am also setup with a VPN using Hamachi VPN. I was wondering if I could use
the VPN so that my notebook could be setup to use the desktop .pst file from
wherever I am located, even when away from my home office network.

Outlook on the Desktop and notebook are never run at the same time. It would
seem to me that if this could be done then it would be the best solution
since whichever system I'm using at the time would update the .pst file.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Thanks,
Mchael
