Keep older version of Office

I have Office 2003 Student & Teachers, if I install Office 2007 Home &
Student on same computer, can I keep the older version too? Would it work if
the hard drive were to be partitioned? Would it work if Office Professional
2007 AE were put on with Office 2003 S & T? Can they happily co-exist?

Thank you Susan for the KB articles. The kb on 2003 appears to refer to
using it with earlier versions and I need information on using 2007 with
earlier versions. Would the same information in the articles apply in that
situation, or has something different been done in this latest version?
