I love the cat office assistant. Is there any way to keep her active on my
desktop after I minimize or exit an office application?

I agree KL. I love the little cat assistant. It brightens my day.
Sometimes it will stay on for me after I exit the office programs and be
visible on my desktop and even in my web browser. That seems it would
indicated that it is possible to make it visible at all times.

Any help out there?

Probably not. Most people hate the office assistant and are more than
happy that Office 2007 finally got rid of it.

All this means is that you have an Office program (probably Outlook) that
has not completely exited. Once all programs are closed, the Office
Assistant disappears. It is only integrated into Office, not Windows.
