Keep timescale

I try again with my question as no one had any answer for
me last time.
I am planning a project which I am not sure when will
start. I will therefore have the timescale in the GANT
diagram to show year, month and week from starting point
(1st year etc). I found it possible to do so by changing
the label in timescale dialogue, and I get a result which
I am satisfied with. However, if I zoom in or out from
the GANT diagram, the timescale changes back to show
actual time. How can I keep the relative timescale when I
zoom in or out?

Hi TG,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You can't - zooming resets the timescale as you've found out. However, if
you record a macro setting up the timescales as you want it, you could then
put it on a tool button in a toolbar. (If you want help with this, post
back.)

Try posting this on the project or developer newsgroups, as this one is
closing down! Please see FAQ Item: 24. Project Newsgroups. FAQs,
