Keeping Filters in PWA Views

Cecile

How do you make the filtered views stick? I have to always do filters each
time I go to a different view.
Thank you.

Filters do not "stick" in PWA when you navigate away from the view and later
return to the view. If you are using Project Server 2003, however, you can
do the following to make the filter stick:

1. Apply the PWA view
2. Select a Filter
3. Click the Save Link button at the top of the data grid
4. Name the Saved Link and click OK

In Project Server 2003, the Saved Link will display both the Filter and
Group you have applied in the view. You can access the link in the Saved
Links section of the Actions pane on the left side of the page. Hope this
helps.

Dale,
This sounds very handy for us as well. We are using Project Server 2003, but
I do not see the "Save Link" button. Is there a configuration option that
needs to be allowed in order to see this button? In which PWA views is the
button supposed to exist?

Jo --

There is no Save Link button on the View my tasks page. You will see the
button many other page, including the Project Center, Project, Resource
Center, etc. Based on your message, I guess you were talking about applying
a filter on the View my tasks page. Hope this helps.
