keeps losing the mail from hotmail

I have four hotmail accounts on my Outlook 2002
which fully downloads each inbox with send/recieve.
Why does it sometimes misbehaves and has to re-do
an entire inbox sometimes and also why do I check
Inbox A and get stuff from Inbox B??

very frustrating. probably not a fix but would like to know
if others have this problem. Thanks
