Not odd at all. That's the return email address I use in my NG postings,
obviously harvested from these newsgroups. It's no big deal to fake headers
in an email. Virus people and hackers do it all the time.

I know that's how it was harvested. the odd thing is it sent it to a
nonexistent email address at my domain. I certainly didn't think you sent
it. just unusual odds that I'd see it. there are probably thousands of
email addresses. ;-)

Chris, if you're hosted on Apache/UNIX
the main e-mail address becomes the *default*
address for any email thrown at the domain
that doesn't have a valid username@.
CPanel *should* have a "Black Hole" setting
in the e-mail set up section that you can set
to reject any e-mail that isn't sent to a "valid"
address.

it's an iis system with something from Ipswich for my interface. I'm
thinking of contacting the admins. a long time ago I thought it was a good
idea to catch the misspellings and stuff. it's not so good now. ;-)
