Key Binding/Shortcut Keys

I am trying to bind some special characters to keys, and when I assign the
shortcut keys it works great. Then when I reboot I have to reassign the
shortcut keys. Is there something I need to edit to save changes on exit or
is this a problem with Office 2003

Do you have Acrobat 7 installed?

Hi Ric-

You'll probably get more feedback on this as the MVPs are more well-versed
on any known issues, but you might try this in the meanwhile. Using Word 2003
I have no such problem, so apparently your changes are not getting saved to
normal.dot.

Go to Tools>Options>Save and put a check in the box for Prompt to Save
Normal Template. Assign your keystrokes and say Yes/OK to any prompts to save
as you go about shutting down Word. See if that makes any difference when you
re-launch.
