Key Code

I need a Key Code for my Office XP student and teacher. I have had this program since 2001 and I had lost it, I contacted Microsoft by phone and they gave me an Activation Number. I asked if I could write it down and they said that there was no need. Now I have a new computer and want to install it again, but no Key Code. I had to get a new Window XP because I am not updating, but installing New. I had Windows 98 when I installed the first Window XP. This is why I need a Key Code because I can use the same Office XP, that I used before.

If you re-installed your Office product on the new computer you could use the phone activation method again. Explain to the operator the reason for your new activation. If they give you a new key code, repeat the numbers back to them after each sequence, and it may be a good idea to be writing it down at the same time if you ever need the key code again.
