Sad Word-ist Encumbered by Function Loss

In Word 2003 I could Ctrl-Y repeat a set of "format picture" options from one
picture, grouping a set of size and cropping options in one operation of the
Format Picture dialog box, oto other pictures I was bringing in with the same
raw format and therefore the same need for cropping and sizing. Being able
to do this eliminated what is now INNUMERABLE extra keystrokes in order to
effect the same result. Am I missing something? This ability seems to have
been completely eliminated. I can't find a way to repeat OR copy over the
settings from one picture to others. I may need a downgrade to 2003 in order
to retrieve the functionality.

I've tested this and I think the problem is that there is no OK button in
the dialog in which you adjust size and cropping; instead, all actions are
performed immediately. I suspect this is what prevents F4/Ctrl+Y from
working. That being the case, I suspect you'll need a macro to apply your
settings. You should be able to record such a macro, though you may want to
edit the result to omit the extraneous bits; see
