Key repeating

I changed some setting that now prevents me from repeating a key - example I
cannot hold down k to get kkkkkk... How do I reset to allow the repeating?

Sounds like one of the Windows "Accessibility" features, look in Control
Panel, Accessibility Options, Keyboard. I suspect you did something to
the Filter keys.
