Keyboard and mouse freezes during Outlook 2007 background activity

I'm running Outlook 2007 SP1 under XP SP3. When Outlook does an automatic
email send/receive or another background task like synchronzing folders
(which it seems to do a lot, for some reason), my keyboard (including
type-ahead buffer) and mouse freeze. This just started happening in the past
couple of weeks. It wouldn't be so bad of the type-ahead still worked, but I
lose whole phrases while I'm typing. Any tips on how to fix this frustrating
problem? Thanks!

Have you tried Detect & Repair?
Have you tried defragging & defragging the registry?
How much RAM do you have? Vista & Office 2007 really need the full 4GB of
RAM to spread out for being such memory hogs!!

Good pro disk defrag: http://auslogics.com/en/software/disk-defrag/download
Registry defrag: http://auslogics.com/en/software/registry-defrag/download

Try their Boost Speed - 15 day trial, but worth the $30 download/CD or both
for $50!
With Vista & Office 2007, this (boost speed) is a must!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
