Keyboard disabled

I have a problem in all my Office XP programs where the
keyboard seems to be disabled. I have also tried the on-
screen keyboard and that also doesn't function. The
keyboard works OK in all other applications and this has
only just occurred.

Does anybody have any ideas?

I've just started getting the same problem, although I'm
running Office 97 on an old Win98 config. Keyboard is fine
in WordPad, Notpad etc but not in Word, Excel or Outlook.
I've tried re-installing Windows and Office but to no
avail.

Has anyone resolved this that is till looking at these? Please if you have an answer post PLEASE!! :)

I'd check the settings for Speech recognition in your MS Office Apps. Has
it somehow been turned on?
