Keyboard not working in MS Office only

Hi friends

Had a customer whose keyboard is not working in MS Word only. He is able to type in other editors like Notepad etc but not in Word. Uninstalled MS Office and reinstalled it to no avail. Still, the keyboard doesn't work

Any ideas
