keyboard problems

Hello,
I think I have done something to my keyboard (I was "fiddling around"!!!!)
Some of my characters when using the shift button are incorrect ie My @
symbol now types a " and vice versa. Any suggestions?

I don't think you have done anything to the keyboard. what you must
have done is to change the keyboard layout from US to UK or something
similar.

Can you see the language in your task bar at the bottom? Just next to
the system Tray. I suggest right click on it and select settings.

Now select the correct language and also there must be a keyboard
section in the list; Select the keyboard for your country.

Click OK and you may need to reboot the system. See if this helps and
let us know.

Thankyou VERY much. Problem solved!! I do remember fiddling with the
language bar when I was trying to fix my spellcheck! Whoops.
