Keyboard Shortcut for Custom View

Marilyn

I'm currently working on MS project 2003. I'm copying a
view and I would like to give that view a keyboard
shortcut character. I Have place the character after the
& symbol and before the Symbol, however, this does not
work. Does anyone knows the answer to this one?

Thanks

I'd need more information on what you're trying to do to better answer you,
however you might wanna try creating a Macro so you can just click control +
(shortcut key). Set the Macro up to display your preffered view... Hope
this was helpful!!

When you go into View, More Views there is a button on the
right hand side that allows you to copy a view. When you
copy the selected View on the Name Field you will see the
following: Copy of &Gantt chart. The & symbol is
supposed to be used as a code when you want to create a
keyboard shortcut character for the view. I'm trying to
include a keyboard shortcut with the name of my view,
however, it's not working.

Thanks

Hello Marilyn,
Make sure that you don't have 2 different Views with the same letter as
keyboard shortcut.
Hope this helps,
