Keyboard shortcuts

No matter what program I'm in, F2 takes me to Word, F3 takes me to Excel,
etc. Overrides whatever those keys do in the overridden program. How can I
disable this behavior?

Thanks......TRW

Some keyboards have an F Lock that transforms the F keys from their normal
behavior to pre-assigned or user-assigned shortcuts. This sounds like what
might be happening in your case. Do you have an F-Lock key? If so, try
toggling it off. On my keyboard, there is an associated light that tells me
that F-Lock is On (when it's on).

Herb...

That was it. Dell keyboard has <F Mode>, which must have been accidentally
pushed.

Many Thanks

A distinct possibility but there are other places to look. My wireless
Logitech keyboard activates a light (there's also one for Num Lock) on
the transmitter/mouse charger for this purpose.
