keyboard won't strike identicle letters simutaneously

Keyboard won't strike identicle letters or numbers simutaneously. I have to
wait at least 2 seconds . It effects all my software the same. I know its a
software problem but don't know how to fix it.

Not a Microsoft Office question, but as long as you're here...

In Windows XP, click on Start | Control Panel | Accessibility
Options | Keyboard tab | uncheck the "Use FilterKeys" box | OK.

In Windows Vista, click on Start | Control Panel | Ease of Access
Center | Make the keyboard easier to use | uncheck the "Turn on
FilterKeys" box | OK.
