keys are not working properly

I wonder if somebody can help me. The keyboard on my
laptop is not working properly. All the keys respond
except the number 8, letter i,k, and m. Since these keys
are in one vertical line, does it means something is wrong
with the keybord or the system? When I press mentioned
keys, nothing happens. I does this on all Office
applications (Word, Exel...) Please help. Thanks a lot

Most likely the keyboard or the keyboard driver if this is happening in all
apps. Have you tested using a different keyboard?
