Label sheet blank

Hi trying to produce sheets of labels from an excel work
book datasource in XP.
I follow the wizard but when I do the merge all I have is
blank pages.
I have used the step to insert database fields and picked
these from the database list in the dialogue box choosing
more items and then click update all labels.
Any idea what I am doing wrong?
