labels in Word 2000

I have MS Office 2000.
In Word, tools, envelopes, then in labels.
Avery Standard.
I do not have#8931 Face CD label

Is there a way I can get this, I guess its a template, and add it to
my available labels?

Are you sure you have the correct number? If you go to
http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/ and enter 8931 in the search box, it returns
no results. Searching for "CD" shows that among many other styles, they have
8942 and 8944. That search also returns links to download a number of
"templates" for various CD label layouts, one of which may match the stock you
have. (Note that these are actually .doc files, not .dot templates.)

It is not possible to add more items to the built-in list in Word's Labels
dialog, but you can use the downloaded files from the Avery site instead.

The labels do read 8931 but then again this is some MAde in China
stuff I found in a dollar store.
Mind you I also purchased an address label package from the same
manufacturer and they worked out just fine.

You can't add to the list in the dialog box but you can use a template for
creating your labels. See if any of these templates work for you:
