labels print misalignment to LHS

Weird one. When printing a single label it misaligns to the left hand side
by 5 mm or so causing only part of the lable to print. I am using the
correct paper size and label and both Word and the printer agree on that.

When I use the New Document option in the label dialogue box and get a whole
page of lables the columns are indented by that same amount, causing the
problem. I realign the indent and all is OK, but only for that page of
labels.

The problem only occurred after installing Word 2007. How did the indent
occur and how do I change it?

1. Once you have fixed the problem by changing the layout, can you save
the resulting document and use that as the starting point for your next
batch of labels of that type? Or does that also cause problems?

(I have seen a problem where a label print goes OK, but then when you
save/reopen the document, Word pops up the "fix margins" dialog box, but
not the precise problem you are seeing. Yet.)

No, it only works for that print job then reverts to the weird indent. On
top of that, I often only print one label at a time, not a whole page.
Creating a whole page (via the New Document button) and then deleting most of
them before printing is very time consuming.
