lack of understanding - on user's part

If there is an MVP available that can help, I sure would appreciate it. I
don't know how to do what "neo" said would help my problem. Could you check
out the post that I pasted below, and put it in layman's terms for me? Thanks
so much,

Thank you for your assistance. Should I go to start, then run, then type in
cmd? Then when \documents and settings\<Tim> appears, type in the rest of
what you noted? I am not sure what I am doing, and am apprehensive I will
create a disaster here!

Use Windows search - nothing to do with running any commands. Neo supplied the path to use to find the .srs file and delete.

To be Safe you can go to Start/Search/All Files & Folders/More Advanced
Options -- and confirm Search Hidden Files-Folders is checked --It's probably
a Default setting -- I have XP - presume that's typical -

If Search is a problem you can go to Win Explorer / Tools/ Folder Options/
View and under Hidden Files - Folders Chk "SHOW Hidden Files -Folders".

Assuming your main drive is C: --- Then Dbl Clk C:/ then Documents &
Settings/ the "userid folder" DL shows in the Search string is
"HP_Administrator" on my computer/ Application Data/ Microsoft/ Outlook and
there I see Outlook.srs --

Good Luck -
