Landscape format table

Margaret

I have several tables in my document. One table is best
laid out in landscape format, rather than portrait.

I know how to put the whole document in landscape format,
but how do I put just one page/table in landscape format,
and leave the rest of my document and tables in portrait
mode?

Thank you.

Hi Margaret

You need to insert a Section Break / Next page (Insert menu) before the
table and one after the table. Then place the cursor anywhere between those
two section breaks, go to the page layout dialog and apply the Landscape
orientation to that section only.

Cheers.

Having created section breaks to create both portrait and landscape
tables, do you know how to keep the page numbering and footer in the same
portrait position throughout the entire document?
